The Spirit Lounge is located inside of The Mabel Tainter.

Located in the lower level of the Mabel Tainter, what was once a bustling youth center (and then mostly storage, meeting, and office space) has been transformed to a lounge fit for our venue, in all its grandeur.

Who's ready for another night of free music?! ✨🎼 The Cathy Reitz Trio returns to The Spirit Room TONIGHT at 7pm!

The Cathy Reitz Trio features Cathy on vocals and Melodica with some of her favorite musicians: Jeff Reitz on woodwinds, and either Emily Watkins on guitar/vocals or Nick Poss on piano. They have been performing together for over 20 years with a song list that spans a century of great music, from the Roaring '20s to the 2020s.

Tonight in The Spirit Room - Take2Day Duo! This free performance begins at 7pm. 🎶

Barbara and Patrick first worked together in Reunion blues, which was active from the early 1990s until 2000. From there, they joined a trio with Dale Freberg (the Take2Day trio), then a quartet when David Kile joined as a percussionist (the Take2Day Quartet).

As a duo, they recorded and released a CD titled "Love Being Here With You", dated 2008. The Quartet made a CD titled "Now Is When" in 2022. Both these CDs will be available for give-away with any size tip.

Greg Herriges performs LIVE tonight in The Spirit Room at 7pm! 🎶

Greg Herriges stirs a mix of original and traditional “progressive world music” on guitar, voice, and Greek bouzouki, with a unique approach honed by his studies of Asian, Mediterranean, and other worldly styles. An award-winning composer and performer, his music and writing have found international recognition. His solo & duo sets include lively instrumentals, inventive versions of rock and jazz standards, and mesmerizing world music.

Don't miss Sue Orfield and Randy Sinz TONIGHT in The Spirit Room at 7pm!

🎷 Sue Orfield and Randy Sinz have been making music together for 20 years. Sue (tenor sax, vocals) freelances in the Minneapolis area and around the Chippewa Valley. She’s recorded on hundreds of albums over the years and continues to tour internationally. Randy (vocals, guitar) has been a staple of the Chippewa Valley Music scene since he was 12 years old, playing in his father’s band and countless bands in Western Wisconsin. He was a touring musician in his younger years, and recently recorded an album in Nashville entitled “This One’s For You Dad”. Together this married couple plays their own brand of fun and intimate versions of country, blues, swing and original songs.
