We could use one more good human in the kitchen. 👨‍🍳

The Outpost is looking to add another cook to the crew, and we’re much more interested in finding someone dependable with a good attitude than someone with a perfect résumé.

There’s flexibility, room to learn, and the opportunity to cross-train behind the bar if that’s something you’re interested in. Take a look at the flyer for the rest of the details.

OK two quick things, if you have a moment…

1. Tubing season is winding down — and from here on out, we’re going reservation-only. 🛟

That includes Labor Day weekend (our final weekend anyway). If you’re determined to squeeze in one last float before we call it a season, give us a call and we’ll see what we can make work. As always, tubing will still depend on weather and river conditions.

The cooler nights have definitely started winning the argument that summer is almost over. 😅

2. So while we’re wrapping things up… let’s see some evidence that you actually made it out there this year.

Alright, procrastinators… your tubing window is officially closing. 😅

We’ve got about TWO WEEKS left before Labor Day weekend wraps up tubing for the season — so if you’ve been saying “we should go tubing sometime,” sometime is running out.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday: Reservations required
Wednesday: No tubing
Friday, Saturday, & Sunday: No reservations — if the weather cooperates and you’re brave enough for some cooler water 😏

The river has come up a little and is still floatable, but summer is very clearly starting to pack its bags.

Come get one more float in before the tubes go into hibernation. ☀️🛟

🚨 THIS IS NOT A DRILL: THE DUCK WONTONS ARE BACK.

After a couple weeks of being out thanks to a manufacturer issue, they have officially made their return to The Outpost 🙌

If you’ve been waiting for them… today’s your day. Come get your duck wonton fix before we somehow manage to eat them all ourselves.

The first August Mölkky Night is this Wednesday, August 5!

We switched things up for August: each Wednesday is its own tournament, teams are drawn at random, and the cash pot is paid out that same night. No partner needed — just show up ready to play.

- Check-in starts @ 5:30pm

Whether you played in July or have never touched a Mölkky pin in your life, come give it a shot. It’s easy to learn, slightly addictive, and apparently serious enough to cause grown adults to argue about wooden sticks.
