Moments like this are why we love live music. 🎙️

Nothing hits quite like when the entire room turns into one massive choir. Lafayette’s was absolute electric for this one. ⚡

Adding new pages to a legendary stage. 🎶

What started as a project for a TN State Tourism contest has become one of Midtown's most important nights for original music. It's technically a contest - but Shara built it as something bigger:

A room full of original songs, a stage that takes every songwriter seriously, and a community that shows up every time.

Next showcase: Thursday, November 5th. Know a songwriter who belongs on this stage? Tag them. 👇

Overlooking Overton Square from the best second-story view in Midtown. 🥂✨

There’s nothing quite like the sound of live music floating up from the stage while you catch the cool late-September breeze on the Lafayette’s deck. 🍂

Balcony tables go fast on show nights, and seats are first come, first serve! We've got artists lined up the whole weekend, starting with Machinetown TONIGHT at 6pm.

Day 1 of asking Lafayette's to bring back "hot dog band" 🌭🎸

54 years ago today, The Commercial Appeal printed an article mentioning a bizarre new Monday night event at Lafayette's: local bands would play all night while people ate as many free hot dogs as they wanted. No cover, just music and a mountain of franks.

While the Monday night tradition has come and gone, our menu still satisfies that craving.

Drop a hot dog emoji in the comments to join the petition to bring back the hot dog band nights! 🌭👇

Asking our staff what a cocktail shaker sounds like… 🎤🍹

10/10 performance from the servers, but our bartenders make it sound (and taste) a whole lot better.

Want to hear the real thing? Catch Baunie & Soul at 6pm or Terry Greene & the Honey Golds at 9:30pm on stage this Friday and watch the bartenders shaking all night.

Drop a comment with which staff member nailed it best! 🥂

Pretty. Loud. Sunday. 🔊 🔊 🔊

Pretty & Loud is taking over Lafayette's this Sunday, September 20th and this is not your typical mimosa brunch, and this is not karaoke.

When Pretty & Loud takes over, the whole room sings together:

Loudly. Proudly. Unapologetically.

DJ Alpha Wh***ey is bringing the anthems. Hype man McLovin is bring the energy. ⚡⚡

Lafayette's is bringing the Hangover Burgers, Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast, and cocktails named after the songs you'll be screaming at the top of your lungs.

Part brunch. Part dance party. All happening on the stage that's hosted legends since the '70s.

Your ticket includes the full Pretty & Loud experience, a welcome drink, and swag. The only thing you need to bring is your crew and your voice.

Sunday, September 20th. Doors open at 11 AM. Event runs from 12-3 PM. Grab yours at the link in bio before they're gone. 🎟️

Daphnie and Chris Acoustic went from sitting in Lafayette’s audience to headlining the stage. 🎸✨

For four years, this acoustic duo has been bringing their signature blend of acoustic guitar, vocals, and cajón percussion right here to Overton Square. What started as a casual side project evolved into one of our favorite regular sets, delivering a laid-back, no-pressure vibe backed by serious musicianship. 🍻🎤

Tag who you're bringing to their next set! Check out our full weekly lineup at the link in bio. 🔗
