Memphis is in danger of losing one of it's most enduring icons of entertainment, Newby's which first opened it's doors in 1975. Newby's has been one of the premier venues for many great musical acts from across the nation that have visited Memphis! We are saddened to see this occuring during the development of the University District and we are asking Memphians to show their support to help keep this establishment alive for the future of our talented city!

Founded in 2008 by a few friends with a shared musical interest, Agori Tribe is one of the more unique up-and-coming bands that Memphis, TN, has to offer. The five members of Agori Tribe, Sean Naughton (drums/percussion), Will Nicholls (guitar/samples), David Collins (guitar/keys/percussion), Dave Hash (keys/percussion), and Jeff Naylor (bass), combine their extensive talents to create a truly inventive sound that defies classification. Their music blends elements of psychedelic rock, funk, jazz, reggae, blues and world music to form a one-of-a-kind fusion of sound. It is Agori Tribe's fearlessness when it comes to experimentation that has led them to become one of the most promising acts to emerge from Memphis in recent years.
