Etowah Presents: Dinner Series No. 16 with Cam Smith

On Saturday, November 7, we welcome our friend Cameron Smith , formerly of Hog & Hominy and most recently of Catherine & Mary's to close out our 2026 season.

Etowah exists to grow and inspire Memphis’s food and beverage community, and this dinner puts that mission to work. Proceeds from this event will go toward Cam’s research trip to West Africa in summer 2027, where he’ll study the local foodways and history, then bring the techniques and flavors back to Memphis.

Join us as Cam tells his story through five courses, with cocktails and w**e pairings included and art from The Ugly Art Co..

Dinner guests will receive an exclusive invite to a followup roundtable and cocktail event following Cam’s trip.

Thank you so much to everyone who shared the table with us this weekend and experienced Chaz Lindsay ‘s story through five dishes. We had a hell of a great time putting this one together.

Etowah Presents: Dinner Series No. 15 with Chaz Lindsay

On Saturday, August 8, we will welcome our friend Chaz Lindsay of Pulito Osteria to the dinner series for an evening centered on season, storytelling, and craft.

Guests may add a pre-service Q&A and ch*****ne toast with the chef.

About Chef Chaz Lindsay:

Chef Chaz Lindsay grew up in the Belhaven neighborhood of Jackson, MS, just down the road from where his restaurant Pulito Osteria stands today. He started cooking at 15 at Pizza Shack on North State Street in Jackson, MS, then went on to train at the Culinary Institute of America.

From there, he spent years working in some of the most celebrated kitchens in America: Colicchio and Sons, and both Craft and Eleven Madison Park under Tom Colicchio. Eleven Madison Park ranked #1 on the San Pellegrino World’s Best Restaurants list and the James Beard Award for Best Chef in New York City.

He left New York to cook at a restaurant in Rome, Italy, deepening his love for Italian food. Then, he came home to open Pulito Osteria. Italian in spirit, season by instinct, and unmistakably Belhaven.

About Chef Cole Jeanes:

Chef Cole Jeanes is a Memphis-born culinary creative whose passion for cooking is rooted in childhood days spent hunting, fishing, and frying game over wood fires with his late father. After rediscovering his love of cooking in college, he trained at L’Ecole Culinaire and gained experience in noted Memphis kitchens, including Acre and Porcellino’s Craft Butcher. In addition to being a co-founder of the Etowah Collective, Jeanes is one of the owners of renowned local restaurants and .
