Hello Colleen, our project is already 135% to its goal! We surpassed our goal and have already raised enough to aid and the hiring of a health navigator at refugee connect, the nonprofit we support. This experience has really shown me how my actions directly impact the lives of refugees in our region and how we have the ability to change their lives for the better. Thanks Billfish for sharing a bit of Steve as he played-upon our stage over the past few years! His musical spirit will be with all of the acts that step-upon our stage!

This has been a week of loss not only for those living on the eastern seaboard but, here at home as STEVE FARRIS, a fellow kindred spirit, artist, musician, father, husband, and friend, has passed all too-soon from this earth.
Steve's compassion for the human condition, was expressed through his voice and instrument and his unique song writing and multiple-instrument playing abilities.
I'd rather have Steve to play-along with over my remaining musical years but, I'm fortunate to have his spirit riding over my shoulder helping me keep the beat!
As they say about that Rock & Roll Heaven, "ya know they got one Helluva Band!...................Play-on Steve!

This Saturday (Oct 6th), we'll be "roastin' a pig", and hosting a Bike Show w/ Live Music on our Main Stage starting at 3:00 w/ the "Bluegrass-Joe Money Band" and then the "Little Rebel Band" at 9:00!

Saturday's Pig Roast has got a great entertainment line-up and the Melbourne Roadhouse is pleased to welcome, "The Secret Writers Society"
