With Valentine's Day around the corner, love is in the air... and in my glass ♥️🍸

When used improperly, Campari and Green Chartreuse can overwhelm the palate and create an unbalanced cocktail. No matter what, many believe that they hate these polarizing liqueurs. Once you're able to look past the confusion of the two together in the same shaker, you might find that giving this gem a chance ends with finding a new favorite.

Love & Murder

Ingredients:
1 oz Campari
1 oz Green Chartreuse
1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
4 drops saline solution (5:1 water to kosher salt) DO NOT SKIP

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.

We fell in love with this bar last night, not to mention Friends Farm Wedding Venue is just so gorgeous and romantic overall. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a dreamy wedding location.

Did you know that Joshua Trees are members of the Agave family?
So they obviously inspire a tequila-based cocktail.

Let's call it ROCKY ROAD. 🌵

Also a tribute to the metamorphic rocks found in the park.

1.5 oz Tequila
1 oz Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa, but I like Mr. Black)
0.5 oz Simple Syrup- more if you really have a sweet tooth
1 oz Bailey's Irish Cream

If you like a bite, leave as is.
If you want it creamy add milk of your choice.

Combine over ice in a shaker and give it a whirl.
Rim glass with cinnamon sugar.
Pour into a chilled glass or over ice.

We always jump at the chance to try local brews. Here we have the General Sherman IPA from Sequoia Brewing Co along with Gen Sherman himself.

Definitely give it a try if you're ever in the area. 🌲🍺

Doing some traveling this week and couldn't resist coming up with a few cocktails inspired by the views.

Starting with the YOSEMITE FALLS SOUR- a refreshing blend of gin, lemon, and a splash of elderflower liqueur.

Quick tip- if you plan on enjoying it while gazing upon its namesake, shake it with ice and pack it in your insulated/stainless steel water bottle so it stays cold.😉
