We are incredibly honored to be featured in the latest Beer & Brewing IPA Edition 🍻

IPA is one of the most competitive beer categories in the world, so to see Bright Penny recognized alongside some of the top breweries out there is truly humbling.

⚡ Misfit Melodies — our collaboration with Eno River Brewing — scored a 95.

This Double West Coast IPA was loaded with Mosaic Incognito, Strata Hyperboost, Strata CGX, Mosaic Cryo, and Cashmere CGX. Massive hop character, bright citrus, layered tropical fruit, and that crisp bitterness we love in a true West Coast IPA.

🌫️ Chaotic Conformity scored a 90.

A Hazy Double IPA brewed with Dolcita Incognito, Strata, and Krush Hyperboost, then dry hopped with Citradellic, Nectaron, and Dolcita. Huge tropical aromatics with a soft body and expressive hop character from start to finish.

We do our best every day to recognize the hard work our brewing team puts in to keep our taps full of consistent, high-quality beer, but it means even more when the industry recognizes their efforts too.

Huge shoutout to the entire brew team for continuing to push boundaries and build a beer program worth exploring. Let’s raise a glass to them 🍻

Happy 7th BPB Anniversary! 🍻

We’ve got 3 special beer releases dropping for anniversary weekend and we are beyond excited for everyone to try them!

🌫️ Trapped Under Haze
Hazy Session IPA • 5.1% ABV

Collaboration beer brewed with our friends at Heyday Brewing (Raleigh, NC). Brewed with Strata CGX, Simcoe Cryo, and Simcoe Abstrax hops. Light, crushable, and easy drinking with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Expect strawberry, pine, and diesel/dank hop aromas.

Fun note on the name — this beer is inspired by the mid-2000s hardcore punk band “Trapped Under Ice.” If you’ve listened to Turnstile, who recently took home Grammy awards for Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance, this was the band before Turnstile formed. Both the guys from Heyday and I listen to a lot of hardcore, so the name became a perfect fit for the collab.

🍹 Fruit Punch Skyline
Wheat Beer • 4.8% ABV

Our Mebane Skyline base beer conditioned with fruit punch juice concentrate featuring apple, pear, berries, cherries, and apricot. Light, incredibly juicy, semi-sweet, and ridiculously refreshing.

🍋 Not Your Momma’s Sweet Tea
Sour Ale • 4.5% ABV

After a 3-year hiatus, the original sweet tea recipe is finally back!

Golden sour ale blended with a homemade batch of sweet tea using real black tea and cane sugar. Balanced perfectly between sweet and tart without either overpowering the other. Easy drinking, super refreshing, and a great option for people who either don’t like beer or usually avoid sour beers.

All 3 beers are available on draft in the main taproom and the canteen, and available to-go in 4 packs.
