Jamie's contribution to this year's is a special one. Sybil is an XPA named after her death friends' extra good dog that recently passed over the 🌈 bridge.

Sybil was the sweetest and always met Jamie with "silent enthusiasm" whenever she would visit.

This XPA was brewed with lots of love and dry-hopped with one of Jamie's favorites, Azacca. Come try it and all the other fantastic beers made by the fantastic brewers representing at SheBrew on Saturday.

Our tagline for Low Sun Texas Lager is that it is "A beer for drinkin', not for thinkin'." But we're lying to ourselves because we thought A LOT about this craft love letter to Lone Star Lager. Every detail was intentional from the complex adjunct malt bill, local Mt. Hood hops, natural carbonation and fermenting it to bone dry. Simple made intricate. Giddyup!

In the end though, this is truly a "drinking beer" that shows up for friend hangs, concerts, BBQ and patios. Come check it out yourself at one of our outdoor spaces.

A few weeks back our favorite cowpoke from came for a visit to brew up a Citra saturated West Coast IPA with us (and help us last minute getting ready to open!). West Coast Cowpoke features just about every way you can use Citra, including multiple advanced products. Dry-hopped with even more Citra and a touch of Idaho 7, this IPA frankly slaps.

Unfortunately the decision to remain open today wasn't a decision at all. We are a small, local business (literally a handful of people) that the employees or the business can't afford to miss a Friday, especially in January. Our landlords and corporate and government bills haven't reached out about not taking money for today. 🤔

However, we want to make it very clear that we do not support the actions of this administration and are horrified by the harm and fear they are perpetuating. We stand in solidarity with anyone that opposes this the best they can. On our end, we will continue to be open and provide a place for the community and coming together over thoughtful discussion (pay in cash if you can!). We will also be donating a % of sales today to .

The other night we suffered (another) break-in at the brewery lot when two people bent back a gate in the fence. This is the third time in as many months and it is a bit deflating. Both and us suffered losses this time. January is already a tough time in this business.
Come cheer us up and come down tonight for trivia and buy lots of food from the trucks. Cheers.
