🇺🇸 25 YEARS. NEVER FORGET. 🇺🇸
September 11, 2001
25 years later, there are still moments when it feels like yesterday.
Today we remember the innocent lives taken that day. We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and first responders who ran toward danger while everyone else was running away. We remember the families who never got to say goodbye. And we remember the countless lives forever changed by what happened in a single moment.
Whether you’re coming into the Den today, going to work, spending time with your family, or simply staying home, we ask you to take a moment.
A moment to stop, reflect, and observe a moment of silence for those we lost.
“The incredible image below was captured during “2,977 Lights Over New York Harbor.” Each of the 2,977 lights represents one of the people who lost their life on September 11, 2001. Together, they formed the Twin Towers once again over the New York skyline leaving us a powerful reminder that while those buildings are gone, the people and the sacred memories never will be.”

Perhaps the most important thing we can remember isn’t just what happened on September 11th.
It’s who we became on September 12th.
For a brief moment, the things that divided us didn’t matter.
We were neighbors.
We were Americans.
We checked on strangers.
We helped each other.
We stood together.
We flew flags.
We hugged our families a little tighter.
We thanked our first responders.
We remembered that despite our differences, we were all part of something bigger than ourselves.
To honor those we lost, we need to be the Americans we were on 9/12/01!
Be kind to your neighbor. It goes a long way.
Help a stranger in need. It could be the moment that holds them together.
Thank a first responder. They are the glue of our great nation.
Love your family.
Stand together.
And never forget the lives that were taken from us.
25 years later, their light still shines.
🇺🇸 Never Forget. 🇺🇸
