Thank you everyone for your support this weekend and your patience with us using this page Im for other things than promoting the restaurant. We are working on a few fun projects that we are excited to share with you, but one in particular we want to throw out there.

We have been approached numerous times for people wanting recipes for some of their starshines favorites. We are considering writing a cookbook or even a series of them. We have 2 questions for our fans.

1. Is that something that interests you? Would you purchase it?

2. Does any of our network know where to start with something like that? I’m sure we could figure it out, but publishing is not in our wheelhouse at the moment so we wanted to toss it out there.

If you dined with us or visited Island Sun Poke while it was open then you probably met Tammy. Tammy is Chef Christina’s mom and moved to McDonough to help us run our restaurants. She as also our bookkeeper for all of our brands. Bookkeeping is something she has done for a lot of her professional career in all sorts of industries. Tammy is currently looking for a position as a bookkeeper or something similar and has been striking out. Hello Friends. We were able to get a few of our personal belongings and some furniture that we paid for personally as well as all of our beautiful snake plants out of the building. Unfortunately with everything going on we are forced to sell our home and as much of our property as we can over the next few weeks. This weekend we will be holding a estate/yard sale at our home in Ola.

The sale will be from 8 am to 4 pm Saturday and Sunday. If you can imagine we will have it for sale.

Well McDonough. It’s been real, and it’s been fun. we have a few more things planned for the month that we will let you know about. But as far as food is concerned, today was it. We hope you’ve enjoyed us as much as we’ve enjoyed being here. We wish it could have lasted forever, but alas here we are.

I’m selling my Big green egg and my black stone.

Big green egg has new gaskets and a new chimney. The fire box is cracked but it has been for years with no issues. Lots of amazing meals have been cooked in this guy. Asking $450.

Black stone has been used at a lot of events and has some rust here and there but can be burnt off and maintained easily if you have a porch with a roof. Asking $200
