Jeffrey Thomas Tye, the son of Jack Ellis and Donna Joanne Forsyth Tye, was born February 13, 1964, in Greenfield, IA. He died January 11, 2026, at his home in McCool Junction, NE, at the age of 61 years, 10 months, and 29 days. Jeff grew up on the family

Well, we have been sitting for two days trying to decide what words to use. We have my come up with sad, mad, shocked!

The hardest part of letting go is not seeing our staff and community faces every day. It still seems surreal, but I am sure tomorrow the emotions will come. I hope everyone can make it to the party tomorrow night from 5 to 8.

It helps that our Catering business has been super busy and I get to watch my husband do something he absolutely adores and is so very good at! It’s easier to say goodbye to Kerry’s restaurant when we still have Kerry’s Catering going so strong for years to come!

Kerry’s Restaurant will be closing at 2:00 on Friday, October 31 for two reasons:

1. So our staff can go cheer on the Mustangs for their State Football Playoff game! Go Mustangs!!!!

2. So that the parents that give their hearts to serve others can go and trick or treat with their littles!
