Cocktail 101. Episode two, the Margarita. ✨

Its real name is the Daisy. Bartenders had been mixing spirit, citrus, and orange liqueur since Prohibition, and when tequila took the base, Mexico simply translated the name. Margarita means daisy.

Tequila, fresh lime, orange liqueur. Salt on the rim to pull it together.

Order it with the Chipotle Shrimp Tostadas, three for $12, avocado under shrimp sautéed in chipotle cream. The lime and salt cool the heat, and the heat sends you back to the glass.
