We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of thoughts, support & love during this devastating time. Please bare with us as we are seeing your messages, calls & posts as we need some time to process this tragedy that has deeply affected our town.

We may have completely lost the Rink, but what the fire can’t take from us is our memories.

I started working for the Toncray’s at the Maysville Roller Rink in 1999, 6 years later Megan & I then owned the rink where we hit the ground running continuing to make it a fun place for all ages. We poured our heart & soul into the Rink & that makes this hurt just that much more. We not only had weekend sessions—we held birthday parties, baby showers, holidays & even a “final lap around the rink” party for our dear friend, George Scheek.
My children learned to skate at the rink as many others learned to skate there as well.

My goal was to make the rink so much more than just a place to come skate & thanks to the communities love & support I realize my family & I did just that.

We’re not exactly sure what the future will hold for us or where to even start for that matter however I do know, we will get through this together. I will continue to pour my heart & soul into rebuilding the Rink as I have done for so many years.

One of the best ways to make yourself happy in the present is to recall happy times from the past. I think we all have memories from the Maysville Roller Rink. This is so devastating for our community. Prayers go out to Matt, the family, & workers. I say we ALL come together and MAKE SURE ANOTHER RINK GETS BUILT. Much Love from your neighbor.
