🌼 Hi, I’m Dori.
I moved here from New York with my Massillon-native husband because we were searching for a slower pace, a place where we could put our kids and family first, and even when life tried to punch us around, we could still be present for them. A life not caught up in the rat race or trying to keep up with the Joneses.
Massillon is, in many ways, a vein of gold, a hidden treasure that many overlook or refuse to admit exists. Yes, it has its ups and downs, but it’s a small town with small problems, small crime, and a big heart.
One of the biggest draws for me was the Towpath, coupled with a walkable downtown. I knew I could raise a family in a place where we could run, bike, and escape into nature, all while being just steps away from everyday conveniences. Because this place gave us so much, we poured right back into it, into our family , our friends and into our downtown businesses.
Matt and I have worked intentionally to help create a downtown atmosphere for everyday adults, people who get up, go to work, care for their families, and appreciate a space that feels warm, welcoming, and elevated. A place where connection, music, and conversation can happen without chaos.
When I say something in Massillon is beautiful, elevated, or worth experiencing, it’s because it truly is. This town has given us abundance, opportunity, and an everyday elegance that many people overlook.
