The Town of Ridgeway will host a July 4 celebration at Ridgeway Park as the community marks the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 50th anniversary of the Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Squad.

The event will feature live music by The Legacy Motown R***e from 6 to 9 p.m.

Food will be served by the Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Squad from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

The town said activities will include food, beer and wine sales for adults with valid identification, inflatables, games, vendors, face painting and a hot dog eating contest.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase hamburgers, Jesse Jones hot dogs or both, with an alpha-gal-friendly option available.

The celebration will take place at Ridgeway Park, located behind the Ridgeway Rescue building in Ridgeway.

The town encourages attendees to bring their own lawn chairs.

All proceeds from food and alcohol sales will benefit the Ridgeway District Volunteer Rescue Squad.
