It is with the deepest sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father & founder, Nicholas Drosopoulos Sr.
In 1975, alongside his wife Peg, he opened the doors of Venus II with a vision rooted in family, hard work, and community. For nearly 50 years, he poured his heart into this restaurant, creating more than just a place to eat - he built a home where generations of Marshfield families gathered, celebrated, and connected.
He took immense pride in what Venus became, especially watching his sons carry on his legacy. His passion lives on in every corner of this place, and in his famous pizza recipe that so many have grown up loving.
We are beyond grateful for the love and support this community has shown our family over the years - it meant everything to him.
He will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and always a part of the Venus.
