Louis and Frank Rivers developed the first hotel, tavern, and store in 1871 in what is now Marshfield, WI. Since we are conveniently located within the Holiday Inn, it only made sense to honor their accomplishment and continue their journey as The Rivers Tavern. As the weather forecast predicts more blizzard like conditions, we will also be closed for breakfast on 3/16. Stay Safe!!

Wanting all our fam here at The Rivers and our friends out there to be extra safe during this impending snowstorm!
We will be closed for breakfast tomorrow 3/15/26 and will keep an eye on the weather and keep everyone updated on our hours of operation for the next 48 hours.
