Hey everyone! Nate here. Tonight is our 9 year anniversary party. I’m feeling super sentimental . This started out because I loved live music and good drinks. I wanted to do my part and bring music to the town that I’m from. What I didn’t know is that my favorite part of all of this would be all the people I’ve met because of it and the community we’ve all built together . That means you.

Thanks for supporting my dream and coming in to try a “hipster” b**r, come see a band you’ve never heard of, tried home made ketchup, or one of Anna’s amazing cocktails and supported our growth over the years. I am so grateful for all of you. TGH brings so much meaning to my life and I love you all for it. I hope we help make Mariposa a better place to live.

Thanks for everyone that has helped get us to where we are . It takes so many people and energy to make this happen. We are booking bands that we never thought would come to our small town. Pliny the elder has been on tap for years what a dream. We’re looking forward to the future and keeping this thing going.

We open tonight at 4 pm. The 50 people who buy something today will get a “free” sticker. (One per person). Can’t wait to see you all tonight!

Also check it out- we are now using compostable, plant fiber containers and lids for all of our food. Also Also! Bring your own to go container and receive 10% off your plate. IMO that’s a pretty sweet deal for the locals.

Thursday (9/10)- Ukulele ensemble. They play all the hits and you can come listen and sing along . Don’t miss our house band for their monthly show.

Friday (9/11)- 9 YEAR ANNIVERSARY PARTY- TGH turns 9! Can you all believe it? Neither can we. We are so proud of what we’ve brought to you Mariposa. This couldn’t happen without all you. ❤️

Alex Lucero is playing and they are 🔥. They are Santa Cruz’ finest. We’re stoked to host them and have them help us celebrate .

Hey friends! We have been working hard to bring you some great nights at The Grove House for 2026! While our open hours are based mainly around events, we have been trying to be open Thursday-Saturday regardless. This won’t always be the case so please refer to this list for all our open dates! You can also check the events page on our website to find out open times and information on exact events!
*We are open at 4pm-Close
*For ticketed shows we are open 6pm-Close and events can sell out, so please buy your tickets in advance (pre-sale are always discounted too)!!!
* Miles Palmer will of course be open whenever we are! Give them a follow to check out their menu!

Friday 9/4- BINGO night with the best dang caller there is Chuck Carter . Our grand prize for bingo will be TWO tickets for the destruction derby . You read that right folks!

This is a ticketed show. You can get them at Eventbrite or at our location Thursday / Friday and at the door. This is just what we need to finish up summer.
