THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

Tar Heel Trivia returns to Catawba Brewing Co. in Morganton TONIGHT at 7pm!

I’ve missed my weekly trivia duties since COVID hit and I took a new career path, but as promised, we’re back with a spontaneous pop-up trivia!

What to expect: We need to respect social-distancing and follow Catawba’s policies.

-Teams can be no bigger than 6-people
-One person at your table will be the designated scribe. Hosts will walk around and collect papers at the end of each round.
-Please LIMIT your movements to the bathroom (pun intended) and around the bar unless absolutely necessary. Start a tab when you arrive, and elect one person to get beers for your table.
-There will be no exceptions made on team size and tables are FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.

-DRESS VERY WARM IT WILL BE COLD

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately Tar Heel Trivia will no longer be providing trivia for Refinery 13. There will be still trivia events held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the near future and you can keep up with all the updates on the main Refinery 13 page! I appreciate all the support you all have given to Tar Heel Trivia, Refinery 13, and myself personally. I wish you all the best and if you have further questions, I can try to answer them for you or you can contact Sarah through the Refinery 13 page!

Again, thanks so much, it’s been a blast!

Hey guys, so after much thought and feedback. We’ve decided to discontinue the way the loser round works at Refinery 13. From now on, there will be a topic posted on Facebook just like normal, but it will no be selected by the last place team. Instead, I will randomly select it every week.

Greetings boys and girls, so it’s come to my attention that there was a mistake with the loser round topic. A team selected a topic three weeks ago because of the holidays and I neglected to post the correct one. This has apparently set off a wildfire of emotion and distain that is really super unfortunate. If you picked a topic from a previous week and aren’t satisfied, please let me know by posting on here or sending me a direct message.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope you’ve all had a safe and enjoyable holiday season! As I mentioned before, there won’t be trivia tonight in Marion, but you’re more than welcome to make the trek to Morganton to start the year off right!
