International Phlat Erth Society International Phlat Erth Society The society originated in Marion, Iowa. The Bottoms-Up Chapter in Australia, meets during the summer solstice in December.

The Chicken Little Chapter traditionally meets at various locations in or near Marion on the Wednesday nearest the northern hemisphere's summer solstice. (The long day enables phlat erth revelers the opportunity to drink more beer)
