🇺🇸 A Day of Appreciation at VFW Post 4449 🇺🇸

Today was all about saying THANK YOU to the men and women who make VFW Post 4449 & Auxiliary what it is. ❤️🤍💙

We enjoyed good food, plenty of laughs, fellowship, and the opportunity to recognize some of our members for the many different ways they serve, support, and contribute to our Post and community.

Whether you've been a member for many years or you're one of our newest members, you are an important part of our Post family. We appreciate those who helped build the foundation we stand on, those who continue to show up and serve today, and the new members who are stepping in to help carry our mission into the future.

To ALL of our Post and Auxiliary members—thank you for your membership, your service, your support, and everything you do, both seen and unseen. ❤️

And to any of our members we haven't seen in a while, we'd love to see you! Whether you're a longtime member who hasn't stopped by lately or a new member who hasn't had the chance to get involved yet, please know that you are always welcome at Post 4449. Come by, introduce yourself, attend a meeting, join us for an event, or simply pull up a chair and visit for a while. We'd love for you to be part of what's happening and what's still to come.

Our Post is strongest when our members are involved, connected, and feel at home here.

Due to an incident up town, VFW Post 4449 will be opening late today. We can't give you a definite time, but we will be there as soon as the get the roadway is opened.

May we act like Sept 12 so the tragedy of Sept 11 may never be forgotten nor repeated. We honor our patriot's legacies and their sacrifices.

The VFW honors the nearly 3,000 lives lost on 9/11 and the generations who served and sacrificed in its aftermath, while calling on Americans to carry forward the unity and service that followed.
