Weekend Feature: "Chicken Moleritto"
Our homemade mole is rich, savory, a little sweet, and basically the definition of comfort food.

Mole Burrito: chicken, rice, beans, cheese, onions, and cilantro, smothered in mole sauce

Mole Quesadilla: chicken, lots of melted cheese, and mole grilled inside.

We’re CLOSED Tuesday the 25th, and we’re not even a little sorry about it. 😂

We’re celebrating THREE August family birthdays, including the magical Myah turning 18! Our little kitchen magician in Taco ’Bout It kitchen is officially an adult. Somehow.

So today, tacos can wait. We’re fishing, hiking, and enjoying some family time at our friends’ Lost Oak Cabin near Tippy Dam in Brethren. If you’ve never checked their place out, you should!

If you haven’t checked out Tacos El Regio - Taste of Montterey yet, you should!
And before anyone says, “But Tarrah, you own a taco place…” Yep. I sure do.
But..
This humble truck is bringing the MEXICAN FOOD and doing it damn well. We finally made it over, and the food and experience were fantastic.

Here’s the thing: other great businesses are not the enemy.
It's odd how some want to be “top dog." Being the best in an itty bitty pool of businesses is not a flex. And a town with no options is one without growth in tourism or year-round residents. I WANT more great food here. More shops. More things to do. More people taking chances and building cool spots in Manistee.

People need OPTIONS. And just because someone else is winning doesn’t mean you’re losing.

Go show Tacos El Regio some love. We enjoyed the hell out of it and we’re happy to have another great option in town.

There’s room at the table for all of us.
