After 22 years, no dust on this judging team! ๐ช๐ป
We are proud of our Kansas State University Dairy Products Judging Team for an outstanding performance at the 2026 National Collegiate Dairy Products Evaluation Contest:
3rd place overall as a team
1st in Milk
2nd in Butter
3rd in Ice Cream
4th in Cheddar cheese
5th in yogurt
6th in Cottage cheese
A special congratulations to our undergraduate students: Nathan Chavez, Nolan Messmore, Seb Figueroa Villanueva, Kevin Sanford, and graduate student Omar Abdelsater.
The team was coached by Ahmed Hammam, K-State assistant professor in dairy foods processing, and assistant coach Jared Parsons.
