We are a funky little Surf Shop and Cafe located in the heart of Manhattan Beach. We have a great selection of apparel and alternative surf craft from Handplanes to Surf SUPs. It just so happens that we also offer the best breakfast burrito in town... and don't get us started about our coffee. By-the-Wind Sailors are back…

Velella velella their technical name. They’re related to jellyfish but they’re actually colonial hydrozoans that float on the surface with that little clear sail catching the wind. Harmless to humans, unlike their cousin the Portuguese man o’ war.
