🚨 MALVERN NEWS LIVE – CINCO DE MAYO PREP DESK 🚨
Tee’d Up Tavern Installs “Maximum-Security” Beer Garden Ahead of Cinco de Mayo, Officials Confirm It Is Still Two Parking Spaces
MALVERN, IA — Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Tee’d Up Tavern has unveiled what some residents are calling a “maximum-security beer garden,” thanks to a newly enclosed chain-link setup in front of the building.
Officials confirm the structure is not actually a beer garden, but a temporary closure of two parking spaces for ongoing building repairs. Still, the setup has drawn attention for its unmistakable patio-like appearance.
This follows earlier Malvern News Live coverage of an area man reacting to the loss of downtown parking—an issue that now appears slightly less urgent given the unintended “upgrade.”
One local resident told Malvern News Live:
“It really looks like they’re gearing up for something. Like tacos, margaritas… the whole deal.”
🚨City officials emphasize the area is closed to the public and ask residents to respect the construction zone while work is completed.
👉Meanwhile, Tee’d Up Tavern actually is gearing up for Cinco de Mayo—offering all-day drink specials with $1 off tequila, Dos Equis, Modelo, and Corona, along with everything else they’re known for: drinks, darts, billiards, and indoor golf simulators.
REAL TALK: You may not be able to go inside the fence… but you’ll still want to be at Tee’d Up Tavern. 🍻
