🌾 DID YOU KNOW?🚜

Agriculture is a pretty big deal here in Franklin County!

According to the most recent Census of Agriculture, 575 farms call Franklin County home, covering nearly 140,000 acres of land. 🐄🌽🌾

And agriculture here is especially rooted in livestock, with livestock, poultry and related products accounting for the majority of our county’s agricultural sales.

The Franklin County Fair may only come around once a year, but the farms, families and hard work behind it are part of our community all year long.💚

Here’s to the farmers who help keep Franklin County growing! 🚜

🪵❤️ THANK YOU FOR AN AMAZING WOODCARVER WEEKEND!

What a weekend!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to Woodcarver Weekend — whether you were one of the incredibly talented carvers sharing your work, a vendor, a visitor stopping in to admire the craftsmanship, or someone who simply came out to support the event.

There’s something pretty special about seeing a simple piece of wood transformed into something completely unique right before your eyes. The talent, patience, creativity, and detail on display this weekend were incredible.

But events like this are about more than what’s created — they’re about the people who show up, share stories, catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and keep traditions like this going year after year.

To everyone who helped make this weekend possible and everyone who walked through the gates to be part of it: thank you. 🫶

We hope you left with a new appreciation for the craft, a few great memories, and maybe even a piece of artwork to take home.

3:15 PM – 1 Hour Quick Carve Starts
4:15 PM - 1 Hour Quick Carve ends
4:30 PM – Masterpiece Carving restarts
7:00 PM – End of Day

Saturday and Sunday Over 50 vendors are in the Commercial building 9 AM -4PM
Saturday Lawn Mower Pulling with the Heavy Haulers Garden Tractor Pulling and Lawn Mower Demolition Derby put on by the NNY Mod Derby Mowers starting at 11:00 AM. Starting at 12:00 PM both days it's fun and games with Jump N Fun. They have a Bullistic Mechanical Bull, a Gelly Ball Booth, Gelly ball Arena, Pucker Powder Candy Art, Axe Throwing, and if you are up for it........ the 20 ft free fall Stunt Jumo. Guaranteed Fun for all ages. Make this weekend one to remember, there something for everyone
