We want to address this past weekend’s event.
The turnout was much larger than expected, and unfortunately a few fights broke out that required police involvement.
That is NOT the environment we want tied to our establishment. We’ve always wanted 25 BREWS to be a place where people can come have fun, listen to music, enjoy friends, support local entertainment, and make it home safely at the end of the night.
We do not tolerate violence, fighting, or behavior that puts our customers, staff, neighbors, or community at risk. Going forward, behavior of that nature will not be allowed, and anyone involved will be removed immediately.
We also want to make something very clear — our ,DJ “DJMal” Kilgore, did an amazing job. The crowd we had was honestly much larger than expected because people truly enjoyed the atmosphere and entertainment he brought. We were packed inside, had large crowds outside, and the support shown was incredible.
Unfortunately, when fights and chaos happen, it doesn’t just hurt our business — it affects our neighbors, our community, and it unfairly gives a bad reputation to people who are simply out here working hard and doing what they love. Jamall is trying to build something positive just like we are, and we do not want his name associated with the actions of a few individuals who chose to act irresponsibly.
At the end of the day, we are a small local business trying to grow, support local talent, and create a fun environment for everyone. Situations like this can seriously hurt businesses like ours and could eventually cost places like this the opportunity to continue hosting events altogether.
We appreciate everyone who continues to support us, respect our staff, respect our neighbors, and help us keep 25 BREWS welcoming, fun, and safe for everybody. We are committed to making sure our bar stays a place people feel comfortable coming to enjoy themselves.
