Ben Folds recently chatted with Scott Detrow, host of All Things Considered on NPR to chat about his journey since his debut with Ben Folds Five over 30 years ago. โWhen Iโm making music now, I donโt feel like particularly a different person than I was with the first record, but you canโt unknow things. And the thing that I still carry with me that I did from then, which is, if I made a record, and it didnโt seem like who I was then, I would shelve it now, even if it had a $300,000 price tag attached to it, because I think that the worst thing you could do is to misrepresent yourself. Everyone else is going to do that for you.โ says Folds.
Donโt miss his return to The Orpheum on October 25! Tickets available at MadisonOrpheum.com
