The third Great Dane Pub is one of the key attractions of the newly renovated Hilldale Mall on Madison’s near west side. Opened in December of 2006, The Great Dane at Hilldale is located across the street from the Sundance 608 Cinema complex. ed booths. The Hilldale Great Dane features several small dining areas including a private room for up to twenty guests and a one-table VIP room. Two gas fireplaces make the Pub cozy in winter, while the two patios (one with Madison’s only outdoor pool table!) are perfect for summer fun. For your preferred drinking atmosphere, choose from the gracefully curved bar in the main barroom or the three-sided pool hall bar- great for people watching and viewing our fully functional brewery! The Sunday brunch buffet offered at the Fitchburg and Hilldale Pubs was voted the city’s best in Madison Magazine’s reader’s poll.
