Great Scott! Downtown is aglow with the completion of the Clocktower renovations. The chimes have returned, filling the Downtown air with soothing seasonal songs ringing 4 times a day (9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm) and the clock face lights up the night like a full moon from 7pm to 7am.

Will you be watching tonight's Boodles Restaurant episode of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares? Boodles was established in Madison Heights in 1985, do you have any great memories there over the years? Did you dine there during filming or have you been there since?

Improvements are underway at the downtown clocktower as crews continue today with essential repairs and structural upgrades. The project includes restoration of the clock’s internal mechanisms, refinements to the exterior, enhanced lighting, and the return of the chimes, to ensure the landmark remains both functional and visually prominent. These efforts are part of a DDA initiative to preserve this important piece of Madison Heights history and a landmark in the heart of our downtown district.
