Ok, people. Day 1 of the next 4 years. Respect the office, whether you agree with it or not. But also respect our constitution. I will give the next adminstration every chance to succeed, because ultimately that is what all American's want. But I'm going to keep my eyes open. So far, I'm not impressed with what I see. President Biden signed an executive order to cancel permits for the Dakota Pipeline. Gas prices have jumped up. Look, see. NY Gov. Cuomo and Chicago Mayor Lightfoot have agreed with scientific experts that "shutdowns" are more detrimental than helpful in stopping the pandemic. They said listen to the scientists. We have. End the shutdown in CA! Go ahead Facebook, delete my account for exercising my first amendment right. I'm a proud American Patriot, and if that equates to a terrorist in your eyes, then apparently we have drastically different views of "our" country. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think we all want to get back to some sort of normalcy. The first step to achieving that is to give small business owners a safe and effective path to reopening. So many of us are already gone for good, and the rest of us won't survive much longer.

Funerals are never good. But my girl Wood did it in style. Chowchilla fire department gave her a lead, followed by a white hurse, followed by a white truck, followed by a huge line of cars. The fire trucks parked at the edge of the cemetery, and the hurse pulled up and parked near the walkway where we were all standing. And then the white truck pulled up, and then forward, and then back. Heads turned as the white truck backed up to the walkway. It was only then that we realized her casket was in the back of the truck. I don't know if they planned it that way, but I'm sure they know Katrina, and she would have said " forget the hurse, I'm riding in the back of the truck!" Miss you, luv u, and glad you were you!

I'm a compulsive liar. People ask "How are you?" "Are you Ok?". And I constantly say "I'm fine, I'm good" If you know me, or you've been around me the last 6 months I think you know that I am absolutely not "good" or "fine". I'm sorry if you've lost a loved one to Covid-19, but the fear of it is killing us all. I can't understand why over 8 years of a successful business can be thrown away because unhealthy people "might" die of the"flu", or other problems they already had, for the majority. I know I'm going to get a backlash for saying it, but it's true. The elderly, and those with pre-existing health issues are most likely to die. And for the most part they are retired, or don't work because they're already too sick. So for the most part they are out of the work force anyway. Why keep killing the living? Is that really doing anyone any good?

In the 80's there was a scary virus that everyone thought would kill us all. Children were the least likely to get it. And yet we didn't shut everything down. In fact, we didn't shut anything down. And while there is still no cure for it, there are drugs to manage it. But before they were developed, NO ONE made a law that forced healthy Americans to stop engaging in the acts that might spread the virus. Yes,I'm talking about AIDS. And when we identified it, and figured out how it was transmitted, we didn't make it illegal to have unprotected s*x. We didn't shut down bars, with the notion that all bad decisions must come from having a cocktail and/or having some fun. We let people know it was out there, we gave guidelines on how to avoid getting it, and we let people make their own choice. WE GAVE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE A CHOICE!!! Why don't we have a choice now? Why can't we just sign something saying YES, I know the risk I'm taking, and NO, I won't take a ventilator or a hospital bed. I know people have died, and I don't mean to dismiss the pain that Covid-19 has caused, but we all take risks in life. I just feel like I should be allowed to make my own choices, and my customers should be able to make their own as well. Don't shut me down and let Costco, Walmart and Target bask in the wake of a so called 'epidemic', while us 'mom and pop shops' suffer. Everyone I know believes the same thing-let me make my own educated decision! BTW- shutting down bars and restaurants is NOT going to make a difference! Even the most Covid-19 phobic people I know cheat! They won't go out in public, but they'll go to a house party! Lol, can't blame them. We're all human, and we wouldn't be if we didn't socialize. I think it's time to make a stand. I'm out of money anyway, so I don't really have much to lose. Sunday, August 30th. Let's plan something. Bar and restaurants, churches, hair and nails salons, anyone that feels they have a right to be a free American! Let me know if you feel like I do! And if you don't, I'd still like to hear from you. It's better to form an opinion if you have more than one view.

Hey guys and girls of every color of the rainbow. I run a bar that will ALWAYS judge you by your actions. I kind of of have to. I sell alcohol, which I'm pretty sure doesn't discriminate. If you're a bitch, you're a bitch. If you're a dick, you're a dick. No one cares about the shade of your skin here. I just hope we all believe this when I say that this second shut down is bu****it! Over the f'ng flu!? I don't mean to minimize the people that have died, and I don't want to sound unsympathatic, but really I'm over it! Whatever, I'll see you on July 28th!

03/19/2020

We're going to be closed until further notice. I wanted to stay open as much as possible, but it doesn't make sense for us right now. I'll keep you posted on when we plan to open again. Stay safe, and we hope to see you soon!

03/17/2020

We will be open tomorrow at 2pm. And Wed, and Thurs, and Fri, and Sat. And every day (except Sun, because we're already closed) and every day until they tell me I "can't" be. And then I would like a more clear definition of why I "can't" be. At this point I do NOT agree with any notion that I, or any business like mine, posses a threat to the health and welfare of my patrons. I understand the reason for concern, but I think certain actions have gone WAY too far! Please don't come in if you're sick, or think you might have been exposed. But other than that, I'm open for business until they cuff me or fine me until I can't afford to keep the doors open! Hope to see you soon!!!!

05/28/2018

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for a long time! We're going to be closed tomorrow for Memorial Day. Please take a moment to give thanks to an active military guy or gal. But more importantly, take a moment to remember those that have given their lives for our country. Have a BBQ, go camping, or spend the day just enjoying the weather with your family. Do something that would make them proud! American
