Did you know the design of our taproom is deeply rooted in the traditional Oktoberfest beer tents of Munich?

When we designed Mad Beach Brewing, the goal was to create more than a room full of tables. Traditional German beer halls and Oktoberfest tents are built around communal drinking: long sightlines, large open spaces, shared seating and an atmosphere that encourages people to gather, stay awhile and enjoy great beer together.

That same philosophy shaped our taproom. The open floor plan, long communal tables, high ceilings and expansive gathering spaces were all designed to make beer drinking a social experience, not just a seat at a bar.

Different coast. Different architecture. Same basic idea:

Good beer is better when it’s shared.

And during Oktoberfest, that original inspiration feels especially appropriate. Prost! 🍻
