Quality Clock Repair

Quality Clock Repair In-depth quality clock work by the winner of the 2008 National clockmakers craft competition. Service on all mechanical clocks from cuckoos to grandfather

Here it's all about clocks. I am a retired toolmaker who has been deeply enthralled with clocks for the last 30 yrs. About fifteen yrs ago I got a lathe and a mill for my home shop. Then I started making my first clock movement. It is an 8-day regulator that keeps perfect time. That was when I learned of the clockmakers craft competition. With a little encouragement from an old clockmaker in Dallas I

decided to enter the clock in class 1 of the contest put on by the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. To my amazement it won third place in class one (time only-no strike or chime). That was when I decided to try to win the most complex class which is class 2. It took 4 yrs to build the clock in the pics from sheets of brass and bar stock. In the 2008 nationals it won first place in class 2, which is multi train movements that strike and or chime. Since then I have stayed busy on everyone elses clock but mine. It's not like that is an unpleasant thing, I love clocks and I enjoy very much restoring a clock to it's original degree of precision. I find it most gratifying and hope I might be of service to you.
