Soni and I (Mikey) first unlocked the doors of the Celtic Bayou to begin this journey February 15, 2014. Today, two years and seven months later on September 15th, 2016, we return the keys.

Despite the outcome, we wouldn't trade the Sound Check experience for anything. THANK YOU

We say goodbye to Lynnwoods very own Soundcheck, it was 2 years of pure ROCK heaven and I loved it. These are some of my fav moments set to a song from Lindesy Buckingham/Fleetwood Mac... I was gonna switch it for Crues, Home Sweet Home, but this works really well for me.... Thanks to my good friend...

The Beatles wrote, 'in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make'. However, I don't think it possible that Soni and I could have made as much love as we felt during Sound Check's final weekend. THANK YOU, Sound Check supporters. We feel the love and consider ourselves truly blessed

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE MEMORIES!

Tonight, Sunday September 4th, we will wrap it up with one Grand Finale Party (and make some more memories). Everyone over 21 is invited (under 21 okay until 11pm - but please help us keep Minors out of the bar area at all times) to see if Mikey can hold it together to play The Rock one last time on the stage Soni and Mikey built \m/

Doors at 6pm tonight (not 4pm). $20 Suggested Donation, but please do not let that scare you off. We want to see all who can make it. Those willing and able to give more, please feel free. It is difficult to demonstrate how much we appreciate all the help as we wind down Sound Check.

Must all good things come to an end? We don't know. However, for Sound Check our time has come. We have this one final weekend to enjoy a place built by a passion for Rock and Roll and Good Times. Did we bite off more than we could chew? Maybe. Did we leap without a safety net? Absolutely. Do we regret it? No Rockin' way!

Our time my be up, but it was one hell of a ride! THANK YOU for joining us along the way!!!!

ANNOUNCEMENT

It has been our pleasure and a privilege to serve the Live Music community since opening our doors in December 2014. During this time we have been blessed to have some of the most talented and entertaining bands take our stage and to have shared wonderfully good times with thousands of guests. Sound Check was meant to be a place to gather and share good times and our sincere hope is that many pleasant memories have been made within our walls. Thank you for bringing our place to life!

Unfortunately, financially things have not gone according to plan and we find ourselves on the verge of closing our doors. If an Investor comes forward, or if we win the lottery or if some other source of capital suddenly materializes we may be able to keep the party going, but since we cannot count on such a windfall it is with heavy hearts that we must commence planning a Sound Check Finale. Please stay tuned for more info….

Meanwhile, we do have Entertainment lined up this coming week and would love to see you and make more memories!

Tuesday night the Washington Blues Society holds their monthly Blues Bash at Sound Check! Open to All Ages. No cover charge. Come enjoy the music while having Dinner :-)

Tuesday, August 9, the WBS welcomes versatile electric jazz-blues guitarist extraordinaire, Michael Powers and an all-star collection of seasoned Seattle blues dudes, Summer School, with Joel Astley, Mahiko Fujita, Daniel McGillicuddy, Michael Baxter & Drummer Boy Jeff Hayes! Come out and dance!
