A Lynchburg Summer Tradition: Celebrating arts and culture while enhancing the quality of life in our community. every Friday from 6pm to 10pm.

Summer in Lynchburg is synonymous to live music and great food with family and friends. MG Productions invites you this summer’s Cheers to the Weekend! A Lynchburg summer tradition that
brings thousands of people together each Friday for 5 consecutive weeks; the largest multi-weekend music series at the 5th Street Festival Park. This year, Cheers to the Weekend! stands to promote live music and a

wholesome community-event. We are also supporting the work of our local community partner Hill City Crash; a program that uses basketball as a vehicle to mentor young men in our area to help keep them in a safe, positive environment that fosters academic excellence and ultimately help them reach their full potential. Our international non-profit partner is CCEH, a Haitian organization which is organized exclusively for charitable causes and purposes, dealing specifically with social issues facing marginalized Haitian Communities; with an orphanage serving the Haitian youth in Port-au-Prince. We look forward to a great season at the new 5th Street Festival Park!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Cheers to the Weekend Lynchburg will not take place this year. We will return in 2022 with the Summer tradition that our community has expected and enjoyed for three decades.

Up next is our Venue Sponsor (read to the end to see how you can get free Jalapeño Cheddar Hushpuppies)!

Fifth & Federal Station has partnered with us to help bring the party to Midtown, and we couldn't be more grateful. From whiskey clubs, to BBQ, to great local apparel, they want to keep the party going - AND start it early.

Aside from having an amazing food truck at Cheers (decked out with a special menu just for us), they'll be hosting live music every weekend! So after Cheers ends, you can grab your Cheers Buddy, walk about 500 ft, and keep the party going after Cheers calls it an evening. Fifth and Federal will stay jammin' from 9pm until Midnight.

Then there's the "early" part. Any time between now and July 23rd, all you have to do is go in, mention this post, and you'll get an order of their famous, mouth-watering Jalapeño Cheddar Hushpuppies with any order.

This year, Cheers to the Weekend! stands to promote live music and a wholesome community-event.
