We finally found a 𝐁𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑 cornball than Carus!

We also thought we used a lot of corn for Oak Eye Kentucky Bourbon... then we met Stephanie and John.

Stephanie had the completely normal assignment of creating the world's LARGEST cornball for the Indiana State Fair. After weeks of building ninety pound batches and using a custom plexiglass base built by her dad, the mission was accomplished.

When she is not constructing massive corn based monuments to human ambition, she spends the rest of the year at the fair teaching kids at Pizza Barn and showing them the farm grown raw ingredients that become their pizzas.
Also, because this story somehow was not wholesome enough already...
These two met while working at the fair and are now engaged.

So congratulations to Stephanie and John for proving that love and corny life choices really can come together beautifully. 🌽❤️

The Slippery Duck fits like a glove—just like every creation made by East to Vest Productions. It's sweet, tart, and it doesn't duck around 😉

Stacey Vest, the creative mind behind East to Vest, is a Covington-based designer who works in wearable art. Her creations elevate any event they appear at and turn heads from miles away. We were lucky enough to have Stacey's help building our infamous Mystic Mustache ride.

If you haven't had the chance to visit the 'stache, this is your sign to knock back a couple Slippery Ducks and hop on. It's just 50¢ and lasts about 45 seconds too long.

You know that feeling after you get a new tattoo? Where you just want another and another and another? That's The Last La Mint. This tasty treat is reminiscent of a lemon drop, but fresher. Made with mint syrup and our Black Belly Spiced Rum, it goes down a little too easy.

Fun fact: this navy-strength rum was made as a gratitude project for Brian Level from Illuminaut Tattoo. Brian has created many of the illustrations we use for our labels, merchandise, and art around the distillery. The whole Illuminaut team is incredibly talented, and we're honored to be neighbors with such a cool bunch of cats.

You probably shouldn't drink *before* a tattoo, but you should definitely stop by for one of these after you get your next ink.

From Bermuda to Kentucky!

Our new friends came from Bermuda to visit our little slice of the world 🌎🥃✨

We talked about island life, fish sandwiches, Cincinnati chili, and of course, Kentucky Bourbon. Cheers all around!

The Garden Smash is light, refreshing, and inspired by warm spring days on Ludlow Tavern patio—especially when those days involve a little Sugar Bear.

For those unfamiliar, Sugar Bear is the sweetest doggo who become Ludlow's unofficial mayor in the Fall of 2025. She beat out the Tavern's very own Dot in a tail-to-tail battle of wits, borks, and fundraising for Stray Animal Adoption Program Adoptable Animals. The tally was close, but Sugar Bear won the vote in the end.

Our neighbors at Ludlow Tavern gracefully conceded the position, and continue to make some of the best gosh darn food in Northern Kentucky (we're definitely not biased). Sliders, Ultimate Grilled Cheese, Chicken Dinner Thursdays, Sexy Mexy Saturdays? You really can't go wrong.

Grab a Garden Smash this weekend and then go SMASH some Tav Sauce & fries—you'll thank us later.
