Being in the epicenter 33 years we feel confident in sharing that beyond the incredible nature of this event, we are certain Lowell Folk Festival economic boost helps Lowell businesses in the DTL survive the Summer! Thank you all for that too!

As we head into the weekend, a sobering reminder for our creative community: New England arts organizations have been hit with over $13 million in recent funding cuts, impacting hundreds of jobs and vital regional programming.

Free, community-driven events like the Lowell Folk Festival are more important than ever, but keeping them accessible requires all of us. Every bucket drop, donation, merch purchase, and share helps bridge the gap when institutional funding disappears.

Let's make sure the music keeps playing on our streets for decades to come.

Now more than ever, these next three months, is the best time to support local farms and growers (and our health!) when no matter what you pick up at the supermarket, $5.00 is the minimum you will spend!! This is sooo much better in so many ways, in our opinion!

Beginning at Shaw Farm in Dracut, to Blueberry Goat Farm in Bedford, Chip In (they let me in on their day off!), Carlson Orchards, Wilson Farm, Herb Hill Farm to Lull in Hollis—We met the NICEST people yesterday…. And of course, the goats!

Thank you Mill City Grows and Horne Family Farms for bringing the good stuff right to our door yesterday!!!
