Attention All MGs customers and especially those customers that patronize MG's late at night (like after midnight)
We were visited by metro ABC today and instructed that they are actively patrolling in the south end to put a stop to people drinking, smoking pot and hanging out in the parking lots.
Lots of unregistered dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, side by sides etc. are being reported at all bars not just MG's.
They asked us to walk the lot and our patio every 15 minutes and make sure no unregistered vehicles, dirt bikes, dune buggies etc are in the lot and that nobody is drinking, smoking pot or doing any other drugs in the lot either.
To do that we have hired more security guards. Since our issues occur 100 % of the time after 10pm, we are implementing a progressive cover charge as follows:
6pm-10pm - NO COVER
10:01pm - 2am - $10.00
2:01am - 4am - $20.00
Theres any easy way to avoid paying the cover charge. Come to MG's before 10PM!
We have been told that there is some talk of bars being forced to close at 2am. MGs is the only bar in the south end open until 4am.
We want to keep it that way. Extra security, extra police patrols and the cover charge will help keep MG's safe and orderly and prevent the type of patrons that are drinking in the parking lot.
Dont be offended if our security guards are policing the lot and monitoring for these behaviors. Its for the greater good of keeping MG's open, safe and available for our customers!
