Brewers - Thursday, July 10th is the deadline for entering your beers for the KY State Fair $5/beer. Late entry is up to July 17th @ $8/beer. Beers can be dropped off at the fairgrounds on Wednesday, Aug 6th between 10am and 6pm or earlier at other drop off locations (see prior post). Blichmann is awarding a 10 gallon Boilermaker G2 brew kettle to the best of show winner at the award ceremony on Aug 9th.

Hey Brewers! July 10th is the last regular day to enter your beers into the State Fair competition! You can enter up to July 17th as a late entry for an additional fee. BUT - you don't have to turn your beers in that early! There's still time to brew one more. Just enter it before July 10th and turn it in by August 6th. Also, this year we have an amazing network of pediatric cardiologists who have agreed to pick up beers at the following locations (check drop off dates on the flyer):

2024 KY State Fair Homebrew Comp Results! Congrats to all of the winners!! Huge thanks to the 60+ judges and volunteers! Special thank to our sponsors - especially Blickmann Engineering, who donated a beautiful 10 gallon tricked-out kettle and attended the event, SouthFork Malting, KY's only malting company, who donated 200lbs of malt and Phenom Hops who donated 20+ packages of KY grown hops and the LAGERS group for managing the jockey box and providing afternoon snacks!! It all came together for a fun event and a great time! Already looking forward to next year...

**UPDATE 8/11 - we had a mistake on BOS Mead/Cider - it was Eric Reynolds. Sincere Apologies to Eric and Bill!!

Details on Judging sessions: Friday, Aug 9th at 7pm (arrive @6:30) and two sessions on Saturday, Aug 10th: 9:30 (arrive before 9am for continental breakfast and signups), and 1pm (arrive 30 min before). Lunch will be provided - please pass along any dietary needs. STAY for the after-party and award ceremony Saturday afternoon! There will be more food and beer available.
