A beautifully honest show with some wonderful characters; charming, moving, generous and so engaging. Delightful to watch and be a part of.

Storyteller Deana Barone is wonderfully observant, quirky and intuitive – and her play uplifts your spirits and also breaks your heart as she explores the indelible stamp that her unique family bequeathed her for better or worse! Deana transforms into her family members and then transcends the lessons they imparted – even as her own talent soars before your eyes. Must See!

It was just a really terrific one person show. Loved the multiple characters and the range of each.

Deana Barone is an extremely talented and heartfelt performer. It’s a joy watching her work.

THE TRUNK SHOW is back for a holiday extravaganza on SATURDAY DECEMBER 12, at TRiP in Santa Monica, 2-6 pm, and we are co-producing with The TellTale Company, Los Angeles Storytelling Festival, Michael Patrick Duggan's Tatlte Tales, and Michael Kass! Extravaganza. YES!

As many of you know, the Trunk Show has been on hiatus lately as Deana Barone Storyteller regroups--However...She is offering storytelling courses... 1. Character Crash Course for people who have already told some stories, in Hollywood, 6 saturday mornings starting may 2 (no class mem day wknd) 2. Westside LA UNLEASH YOUR STORY playrompshop! 8 Monday mornings starting May 4 (no class mem day), and 3. a Ventura intensive weekend UNLEASH YOUR STORY Playrompshop either the third or fourth week of June. Iris Bahr is going to be performing tonight at our show at Busby's East at 8pm!!!! This woman is on fire!! Her comedy is smart and hilarious and her characters are just amazing. (she's also written 2 books and is on tv all the time and has has several award winning solo shows..nbd)..

This Tuesday at Busby's East we have Megan Dolan - actress, writer, storyteller, and mother of 2 toddlers! She is such a vulnerable storyteller and it is honestly always such a treat to watch her on stage.
