What happened yesterday will never leave any of us. A moment so unbelievably massive for this club and for supporters around the world - it’s honestly difficult to find the right words to convey just how special it was, and will continue to be throughout these celebratory times.
Arsenal Los Angeles has had the privilege of being home to so many supporters across this beautiful city, and beyond that, a home away from home for people visiting the City of Angels from every corner of the globe. The moments shared within the four walls of the Fox over these last several years have run the full spectrum of human emotion. We shared dark times, moments of unbelievable heartbreak, times of sadness, and times that felt like we would never reach the heights we had all longed for so desperately. Those moments are firmly in the rearview now - all I can remember as I sit here writing this are the days of camaraderie, of togetherness, of family, of community, and now of celebration.
The messages we’ve received since yesterday with a simple “thank you for accepting me” will never, ever be forgotten. The Fox and Arsenal Los Angeles - like every Arsenal pub and supporters club around the world - will have stories like this to anchor themselves to for the rest of our days.
Over these last 22 years, the world has changed. So many of the supporters we now call friends weren’t even born yet. We’ve watched our best friends start families of their own. Marriages, graduations, and unfortunately the loss of those we held closest - those who did not get to experience what we all did yesterday.
This moment belongs to all of us. From Los Angeles to North London, from the streets of New York to the streets of Uganda - for the bartenders, the waitstaff, the taxi drivers, and the subway operators. The list goes on and on. This will never be forgotten. This is for all of us, for those yet to come, and for those who left us too soon.
Enjoy every single fu***ng second of it, and celebrate unapologetically. We deserve it.
From the entire Arsenal LA family - we love you. Up the Gunners.
