Friday December 26 and Saturday December 27th are the last chances to see the location at 7080 Hollywood boulevard. It’s currently hosting the pop up and these are the final two days to ever come here and see this space. Our gift to you, all admissions to the pop up for the last two days will be FREE! (Admission only cocktails are not included) so come on out, spook out with us and our pals at one final time and our gift to you, free admission! 6pm-9pm both days. We’ll keep you guys posted about beetle house future as details are available. Happy hauntings friends.

As promised, the update on the future of Beetle House. We have some news, some good, and some even better. The good news is that Beetle House LA has teamed up with some great folks to become from BLACK FRIDAY UNTIL NEW YEARS EVE! This is a fully immersive over the top dark winter wonderland, complete with weekly nightmare before Christmas Raves, smoking and bubbling drinks, a goth winter garden, with snow machines, goth Santa and the elves! This space will be filled with activations everywhere. There is NOTHING like this anywhere and we are so excited that our current location is able to be home to this pop up! NOW, the better news… Beetle House LA is relocating to the Burbank area. After 9 Halloweens in Hollywood we are leaving. It’s been whacky, wild and weird, but it’s time for us to move on. We wanted to have one last Halloween in Hollywood before the move and so we did. Our LAST day of Beetle House service at this location will be next Saturday November 8th. After that we will be building our new space and getting everything ready which will take some months to do. We plan to reopen in our new location when all of that is complete.

Thank you all for 8 great years and 9 Halloweens in Hollywood and we look forward to many more in Burbank at our new home.

If you want to experience our current location for the first or last time, book NOW our last days of service in this location are, NOVEMBER 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th.

This is our LAST Halloween season in Hollywood. This is your LAST chance to come see us. After this season we will be moving to a new location outside Hollywood. We have opened up new dates (Monday’s-wedneadays) starting in a week to help get more of you a table while we are getting busier by the day. READ TIL THE END AND VOTE!
Thanks to you guys coming out and showing support we made it through July. We are now pushing for August! We have a plan, it’s a big scary haunted plan, but it’s a plan! We don’t want to quit, we aren’t quitters, we want to sink our fangs into this place and suck the blood out of it. It’s all about you guys. Do you want us to make it? If so, keep showing up! We need you guys to spread the word, the house stands for another month! Book a reservation now for this week and next week. Wanna come more than once? How about a rewards program that gets you discounts and free stuff and access to special events? It’s about time we created that!

Because of the overwhelming support and love we have received from you guys. It has been possible for us to continue on this month. The bills got paid, and some repairs that we need to do are happening.
The bigger issue that we have, as we had shared is that our rent is just simply too expensive in this space and we don’t believe that this space is the right space for us. We always felt more like a haunted house than an auditorium and so we are actively looking For a potential new home.
The GoFundMe is great, we never thought about anything like that before and it was amazing to see people donate to it and continue to donate to it. Thank you for that.
The greatest and most important thing that anyone can do right now to support us is simply come have dinner. Patronizing the business, coming for dinner coming for drinks, throwing events. Anything that you guys can do to support us will help us hopefully survive and get to the next level. We are not out of the graveyard yet. There is still a lot of issues and we are still uncertain as to what will happen, but we are working our best to correct them and your support means everything to us.
We are seeking out investors, we are seeking out opportunities to move into a more reasonable location with affordable rent, potentially in a different neighborhood outside of Hollywood. All of these options are on the table. Originally, we said we did not know if we would be able to continue after July and that has not changed. Although the support from the community has been awesome and we have been able to pay our bills over the last three weeks That can change at any moment and it would only take a couple bad weeks for us to have to close the doors.
Remember, if you haven’t read our original post, we shared the bills. It costs us over $50,000 a week to stay open and that’s a big number to reach every week. From the bottom of our little black and
hearts we thank you for everything. If the future will have us, we are here for it, but if the ride is over we are thankful we got to be on it. No matter what, we had the best time celebrating Halloween year round with the best city and the best people for the last 8 years!

You may have heard the rumors… Are we closing? What’s happening?

We’ve gotten so many messages from you and first—we just want to say thank you.

Most businesses wouldn’t share this publicly… but we’ve never been like most businesses. This is embarrassing. It’s heartbreaking. It’s not the post we ever wanted to write—but it’s the truth.

You’ve been our family, our friends, our community for 8 years we need to be honest with you.

Where we’re at: We’re facing some really hard decisions. Whether we close, or move, or take one last shot to save this place… we don’t know yet.

How did we get here?

The pandemic shut us down for over a year. An investor pulled out, leaving us with a $500,000 hole. A manager stole $60,000 and vanished. Then came the LA fires. Now the immigration crisis that’s devastated hospitality in this city.

We’re not just a restaurant. We’re a restaurant, a bar, a nightclub, dinner theater, and a spooky immersive experience—all rolled into one. And that comes with huge operating costs:

$50,000 a week just to break even.
$40,000+ monthly rent.
$30,000+ weekly payroll.

We’ve drained our finances. Borrowed during the pandemic. Pushed as hard as we could for as long as we could.

We’re not posting this for sympathy. We’ve never asked for help before—not even during COVID.

We’re just tired.

As it stands today… Beetle House LA, in its current form, will cease to exist after July.

Could that change? Possibly.
Could we get the miracle we need? Possibly.
Could this be the end? Also possible.

We’re exploring everything: fundraising, private investors, relocating… but right now, we need people in the building spending money if we’re going to survive.

For every person who came, ate, sang, screamed, worked, quit, loved or hated us,—thank you. You all mattered and built this!

If this is the end… we leave with gratitude and our heads held high.

We created something we loved… for people who loved it… for 8 spooky, ridiculous, incredible years.

New York remains open and strong.

Hello. This event is canceled.
It was brought to our attention from .losangeles and that one of the promoters of this event may have been involved in things that go far outside our values and ideology. We have been part of the Los Angeles food and spooky/goth community for 8 years and seek to always provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone. The exception is that we will not provide space for anyone involved in naziism, racism or discrimination of any kind. Putting our customers safety and comfort over money has always been our priority clearly as we run a Halloween Restutant year round… money was not the priority! We strive to bring a different type of experience to a city full of vibrant people and personalities. We wanted to create a Halloween party that happens five days a week year-round. Our goal is to be welcoming and inclusive and in doing so sometimes we have to say no to certain types of events or certain people. This post in no way is meant to cast guilt on any individual or to claim that we have all the facts regarding these individuals. It is simply to say that we are not comfortable hosting this event or any other events hosted by this group. Therefore the event is canceled and we thank those in our community for bringing this to our attention. we are open for bookings and rentals to others in these communities that would like to host events. Please reach out if you’re interested in hosting an event. Stay spooky friends.

It’s been a rough year for the living and the dead and it’s only MAY! So let’s do something a little crazy, it may put us out of business, but we’re gonna turn on the juice and see what shakes loose! Starting next Thursday and every Thursday thereafter until we quit or die, The ghost with the most will be hosting this amazing night offering the ultimate Beetle House experience for the lowest price in history! But you’ve gotta say our name three times to unlock it! Make a reservation now, and when you arrive, tell your greeter, Beetle house, Beetle house, Beetle house! We will serve you up a three course dinner with all the trimmings for $40. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! A special new cocktail (kind of like a pineapple margarita with some bug juice and spider guts) called the Bio Economic Exorcism for $10 all night. Buy one get one Beetle’s Juice cocktails and buy one get one half off Fish Bowls! And the best part? It’s a cosplay night, it’s like Halloween all year long! If you come in costume you get even more special prizes and free stuff! Could this get any better? Yes it could! We just installed our newest activation our fully immersed coffin photo booth where you guys can capture the memories inside the decked out Photo Booth room!
