They say that all good things must come to an end. It is hard for me to say, but we have come to the end.
A little over 14 years ago Brad and I started our journey to our “little cabin in the woods.” We have made many life-long friends that we consider our Grove family and cherish the memories that have been made. When I lost my partner in said journey, well….. it just hasn’t been the same.
My annual liquor and health department licenses will come due at the end of the month. In dealing with the runaround trying to renew licensing, I realized I just can’t do it on my own any longer.
To my boys Rhedt and Rhys: you were my rocks and my strength this past year and half. With you and some help from Aleq and some very good friends, we made it this far. To my girls Aleq, Cydney, and Ashley: I want to have the opportunity to spend more time with you. I have painfully realized life is too short.
A sincere thank you to all that have helped us get to this point throughout the years. At the risk of leaving anyone out, I will say, you know who you are. I hope that we have in some way showed our gratitude.
With all of this being said, come join us the night of Saturday, January 29th for one last drink. One last party. One last hurrah! The Grove as we now know it will close Monday January 31st.
Our hours for the final week will be:
Taco/Enchilada Wednesday - 5:00p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Chicken leg/Meatloaf Thursday - 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
Friday and Saturday - 5:00 p.m. until midnight(ish)
From the bottom of my heart, thanks again and all of my love.
Kel, Brad and the Roelandt family
