This tournament is about much more than golf.

In the Ocean Beach School District, approximately 67% of students qualify for free or reduced-price meals, and nearly 1 in 5 students experience homelessness.

For years, Pack 2 School has helped local children start the school year with backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts. Last year alone, the program served more than 330 children.

Unfortunately, a major donor who helped provide clothing and shoes is no longer able to do so.

This year, The Peninsula Golf Course and Peninsula Baptist Church are partnering to help fill that gap.

🎯 Our Goal:
✔ Raise $10,000
✔ Help 400 local children
✔ Provide shoes, clothing, backpacks, and school supplies before the first day of school

Whether you’re a golfer, business owner, parent, or community supporter, we’d love to have you involved.

Calling all gnome hunters!
Throw on your rain boots, grab your sense of adventure, and head out to search for the 13 hidden gnomes scattered around the course in Long Beach, Washington. 👢🔍

Some are sneaky.
Some are soggy.

Most people see the Coast Guard out on the water…
but not everyone knows what it takes to become a Chief.

The Chief’s Call to Initiation (CCTI) is a big part of that journey. It’s where selectees are mentored, challenged, and prepared to step into one of the most important leadership roles in the Coast Guard.

Here on the Peninsula, in Astoria, and beyond the Coast Guard isn’t just passing through—it’s part of the fabric of the community. They’re out there in rough weather, long nights, and real conditions, taking care of neighbors, fisherman, and people most of us will never meet.

We’re proud to host the CCTI Spring Golf Tournament at Peninsula Golf Course on April 18–19—a weekend built around camaraderie, connection, and a great day on the course supporting a great cause!

👥 Teams of 4 (3 USCG + 1 civilian)
🕘 Shotgun starts at 9AM & 1PM

This event is open to the public, and it’s a great way to:

Spend a day on the course
Meet members of the Coast Guard community
