Peninsula Golf Course We’re your laid-back escape golf course—dog-friendly, scenic, and always welcoming. Golf, disc golf, golf simulator all year long on the Long Beach Peninsula.

From tee times to tournaments, solo swings to community events, there’s room for everyone here. Peninsula Golf Course is a fun and interesting course set on 55 beautiful, pristine acres just north of downtown Long Beach, WA. We have a variety of tees that make 9 or 18 holes as challenging as you like.

Through this partnership with Youth on Course, kids and teens (ages 6–18) can sign up for a FREE one-year membership, allowing them to play rounds here and at over 2,000 courses nationwide for $5 or less! 🏌️‍♂️💸

Most people see the Coast Guard out on the water…
but not everyone knows what it takes to become a Chief.

The Chief’s Call to Initiation (CCTI) is a big part of that journey. It’s where selectees are mentored, challenged, and prepared to step into one of the most important leadership roles in the Coast Guard.

Here on the Peninsula, in Astoria, and beyond the Coast Guard isn’t just passing through—it’s part of the fabric of the community. They’re out there in rough weather, long nights, and real conditions, taking care of neighbors, fisherman, and people most of us will never meet.

We’re proud to host the CCTI Spring Golf Tournament at Peninsula Golf Course on April 18–19—a weekend built around camaraderie, connection, and a great day on the course supporting a great cause!

⛳ 9-hole scramble
👥 Teams of 4 (3 USCG + 1 civilian)
🕘 Shotgun starts at 9AM & 1PM

This event is open to the public, and it’s a great way to:

Spend a day on the course
Meet members of the Coast Guard community
Support Chief selectees as they take the next step

Peninsula tournaments are relaxed, welcoming, and built for all skill levels—no pressure, just a good time with good people.

Ever finish a round and think…
“I’d play again this week if there was a reason.”

That’s what The Climb is for.

The Climb is a season-long 9-hole net match play ladder where golfers challenge their way up the rankings throughout the season.

Play when it works for you.
Challenge someone above you.
Win and move up.

The season runs March through September and kicks off with a Ladder Ranking Event on March 22 at 10 AM.

🌧 The Rain Is Coming… So Are the Gnomes.

If you’ve been curious about The GNOME Network, this week is your moment.

Here’s how easy it is to join:

1️⃣ Stop by the Pro Shop
2️⃣ Grab a $15 Annual Gnome Pass (valid 365 days)
– Kids 10 & under are free with a paying adult
3️⃣ Pick up your scorecard
4️⃣ Walk the cart paths and start spotting guardians

That’s it.

No golf round required.
No reservations needed.
Just rain boots, a jacket, and a little curiosity.

All 13 guardians stay within 10 feet of the cart path — no wandering into trees, fairways, or greens. Take photos as you find them, track your progress, and bring your scorecard back anytime to update it.

Most guests don’t find all 13 in one visit — they wander.

Completed scorecards are entered into our monthly prize drawing.

🌧✨ Have you ever noticed how the Peninsula feels different when it rains?

That’s when they come out.

The GNOME Network has quietly taken up residence at Peninsula Golf Course — 13 wandering guardians who appear only when the rain truly settles in. They hide along the cart paths, near bridges, beside mushrooms, under dripping branches… always watching, always moving.

With a $15 Annual Gnome Pass, you can join the search.

Pick up a scorecard in the Pro Shop, follow the paths (no need to wander into the trees or onto the greens), and see how many guardians you can find. They rarely stay in one place for long, so it may take a few rainy visits to discover them all.

Walking guests are welcome — no golf round required.

The Gnome Network is a self-guided walking adventure.
Stroll at your own pace. Look a little closer. Capture what you find. Become part of the story.

Passes will be available in the Pro Shop starting February 27.
