Since the very first step we took on this new adventure…our intent was undoubtedly simple! We absolutely knew that we could only throw the stone in the river as far as our support would allow us. With that in mind, "We Built a Brewery" based on the following:

1. Offer an atmosphere that defies gravity, where you can literally feel the pressure of life lift when you walk in our establishment!
2. Mold creativity, laughter and relaxation into the tastiest dish you have ever consumed.
3. Establish a social trend in the community that emphasizes support and extends a genuine hand in an effort to provide the strongest friendships.
4. Integrate quality ingredients from around the country with the intent to create a harmony between beer and food that gets stuck in your head just as a song that you can't help but sing over and over again! Ultimately, we are here for you, to create a community bond stronger than steel and to create a smile of pleasure each time you reach your lips towards a pint of Lolo Peak Brewing Company's finest craft beers. 🌟On Tap Now: Red Bandana India Red Ale 🍺

A note from our brewer ⤵️ Ben Johnson
This India Red Ale is more than a b**r, it’s a tribute. At 7.8% ABV and 65 IBU, it pours a glowing deep red, built on a malt backbone of two-row, crystal, and Munich that gives it both sweetness and depth. Assertive hopping with CTZ, Cascade, and Willamette layers pine, citrus, and earthy spice over rich caramel notes.

I first brewed it from a reworked homebrew recipe from the early 2000s, and each year I return to it in memory of my friend Welles Crowther. Welles, remembered as the “Man in the Red Bandanna,” gave his life on September 11, 2001, saving 18 people from the South Tower. The red recalls our school colors, the name nods to our Indian mascot, and the balance of bitter and sweet reflects the life and loss of a true hero.

To honor Welles’s legacy, $1 from every b**r sold will be donated to the Welles Remy Crowther Trust, supporting programs that carry forward his spirit of courage and selflessness. Welles Remy Crowther Charitable Trust
