KnK Cabin Creations is a small Taxidermy business located in Southern Clinton County PA. We are located just 2 miles from Exit 185 of Interstate 80. We specialize in Fish and Small Mammal Taxidermy. The taxidermist is Professionally Licensed by the PA Dept. of Agriculture and has been practicing for more than 15 yrs. This shop offers detail not often seen from most commercial shops. All Lip Balms and Lotion Bars are made of 100% Natural Products and made in small batches, often only one cup at a time. Please note that some products may contain nut based oils such as almond oil. Haven’t posted anything in forever… but I am still at it. It’s against my grain but this is a reproduction (fiberglass blank) a customer talked me into doing. Of course it’s for a kid so I agreed. Goldens do make for an eye catching mount.

Hi Folks been a long time since I posted anything! With the start of the PA trout season upon us I’d like to offer the best methods for preserving that trophy. Wrap your fish in a wet cotton t-shirt or towel and seal it in a plastic bag. Please do not put it directly on ice or wrap in news paper. Ice will damage scales and news print will transfer to the fish. Good luck to all our anglers this season and be safe on the streams.

Mentored Youth fishing day! Had a great day with this kid! Good job Zach!!
When your young angler catches one for on the wall please handle the trophy gently. Wrap the fish in a wet cotton cloth and seal it in a plastic bag before freezing. Get it to KnK Taxidermy as soon as you can! Good luck!

In 1998 I was introduced to Percy Smith. Percy was ‘Baker Hollow Taxidermy’. We met because he wanted a Timber Rattle Snake to mount. Percy became my very best friend and moral compass. He allowed me to apprentice with him and I learned taxidermy. We lost Percy in 2012 and I lost a part of me. His son Chad and I maintained a good friendship and he was my go to when I needed a hand in the shop. Chad opened a little taxidermy shop of his own and his son Geoff, in the pics, took on this kinda artesian-looking deer for a friend last fall. We lost Chad about a month ago at way too young an age. Geoff and I put this deer together this past week. My tribute to my best friend and mentor. Hoping to carry on the tradition.
