Tomorrow will be a fantastic day for games & events! At noon we have the Bearcats taking on WVU followed by the Buckeyes and the Terps at 4:15. Enjoy some wings & b**r while watching the games. I’d like to thank everyone who attended tonight’s event. The support was overwhelming. I’m very pleased to see so many people taking an active role in the future of our community. Remember, we’re 4 weeks from the next election, I encourage everyone to research the position of all candidates and vote your conscience. It’s not just our right, it’s our responsibility.

We have a special event happening tomorrow night from 6-7:30. Pubs have historically been a place where people gather to discuss matters of public interest and politics. I’ve had many customers ask me about the local commissioners race and about the positions of the candidates. I’m not sure why people think I have these answers, I don’t. This made me curious, so I reached out to the candidates to organize a meet & greet to allow the public an opportunity to better know the candidates. Both candidates have agreed to be available tomorrow from 6-7:30 at the pub. This is an opportunity to learn more about them personally and ask policy questions. The event is not a debate, the candidates will not be sparing or challenging each other. This is not an opportunity to attack the candidates or their beliefs. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. This is simply an opportunity to meet the candidates, learn more about them and have more knowledge in order to make a more informed decision when you vote next month. The Shamrock does not endorse any candidate in any race, we encourage everyone to gather as much knowledge as possible and exercise your right to vote. I hope to see you all tomorrow night at the pub from 6-7:30.
