Here's something you don't see everyday...

🍷 A Vertical Flight highlighting the past 30 Years of Cabernet Franc at Wagner!

We hosted a special guest this week in the Library, and it gave us the opportunity to put together something really unique: a vertical flight of Cabernet Franc with 12 tastings spanning 30 years!

The flight allowed us to explore the versatility of the grape, examining Cab Franc in its various forms from a Meritage blend, to a RosΓ©, to an Ice Wine. It also revealed the flavorful changes and intricacies it can develop over time in the bottle.

The Flight (starting with most recent vintage):
* 2025 Cabernet Franc Ice Wine (tank sample)
* 2024 Dry RosΓ© of Cabernet Franc
* 2022 Cabernet Franc
* 2022 Cabernet Franc, Lone Oak Vineyard
* 2020 Cabernet Franc
* 2019 Cabernet Franc
* 2017 Cabernet Franc
* 2016 Cabernet Franc
* 2012 Cabernet Franc
* 2010 Cabernet Franc
* 2007 Meritage
* 1996 Cabernet Franc

Almost the end of American Craft Beer Week!

Tonight's highlight is the fruity favorite: Hop Tropic Hazy IPA!

A cocktail of mango, pineapple, and fresh-squeezed orange juice compliment the soft, pillowy mouth feel of this easy-drinking IPA. The perfect companion for the warmer weather that's coming in strong lately!

Which one of our brews should we highlight for the final day?? πŸ€”

iiiiiiiit's American Craft Beer Week!
All this week, we will be highlighting some of craft beverages we have available right now at Wagner Brewing.

Tonight's highlight: Dockside Vienna Lager!

The classic sit-by-the-lake-and-enjoy-a-cold-one beverage! Smooth and aromatic. This German style lager is slightly sweet and toasted, and pairs perfectly with a lake day with your feet in the water. Cheers!

Almost forgot to post about tonight's highlight: Cross-Section IPA!

Smooth and flavorful, Cross-Section is jam-packed with the taste of orange, grapefruit and fresh pine, along with some big hoppy aromas. Balanced out with its dry finish, this classic won American IPA Gold at the 2023 NYS Craft Beer Competition. Grab yourself a 6-pack to pair with some grilled veggies or a spicy noodle dish!

Next up is Franc-in-Weizen!

Franc-in-Weizen is a Berliner Weisse-style sour ale, that utilizes the pressed Cabernet Franc juice and grapes, sustainably grown by the great winemakers at Wagner Vineyards Estate Winery! The Cab Franc grapes give a complex, tart flavor and aroma, as well as a beautiful amber color. On tap and in cans, ready for you to take home!
