🐟💔 A SAD DAY IN THE BASEMENT 💔🐟
Lodi… we gather here today with heavy hearts and slightly questionable spelling to honor our beloved bar fish, Lloyd, who passed away unexpectedly yesterday.
Lloyd wasn’t just a fish.
He was a friend, a therapist, a confidant, and somehow — despite having no arms — a 13‑time Employee of the Month. In his short tenure at The T Room, he listened better than most humans, judged less than all of them, and stared into your soul like he knew exactly how many drinks you’d already had.
The tank is quiet today.
The basement feels a little emptier.
And CPC is already claiming Lloyd’s shift tips, which feels wrong but also very on‑brand.
In lieu of flowers, Lloyd would want you to stop down, grab a drink, and reminisce about the good ole days — the splashes, the bubbles, the way he’d glare at you when you tried to tap the glass.
Raise a glass for Lloyd.
Swim high, buddy.
